Travelling Ahead supports Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities around Wales (children, young people and adults) with your rights and entitlements, make sure your voices are heard, you are treated fairly and to help challenge discrimination.

From April 2017 we offer:

  • Advice and support on any issue that’s worrying you – call our advice line or come to one of our community sessions
  • Rights and participation – information about your rights and support to get your voices heard and involved in decision making
  • Tackling discrimination  – support to challenge negative media and get hate crime and discrimination taken seriously

Here are some of the things we can help with  – or if we can’t help we will know someone who can!

  • Accommodation, planning, sites
  • Education – schools or training
  • Discrimination – racism, refused service, hate crime, negative media reports, unfair treatment
  • Consumer rights
  • Legal rights
  • Making a complaint
  • Speaking to the council or services that you might need
  • Health
